I’m selling a CX-7 on KSL (Here) and got a guy with a local area code interested. Seems scammerish with his insistence of me using his link for a car fax type report. Always cautious with over eager buyer and a suspect link. Thoughts??

I spell part of my phone number out in the body of the ad, and don’t put it in the actual phone spot. Seems to cut down on 90% of the automated scammers since I started that. Also stopped using my actual phone number and using a google voice one.

I have got to the point where I tell people the VIN is on the listing, you're welcome to pay for any type of report they would like. If they keep pushing, I just tell them they don't have to buy, or I tell them to move on with their scam crap. The ones that really piss me off are the ones that actually seem to sound like a really interested party, then about 5-6 texts into the conversation they spring their BS link. Then I am just pissed I wasted that much time on a scammer.
