I have an 07 Dodge with the 5.9 and love it. I get 18 mpg in town and 22 mpg on the highway (you have to keep it below 80 to get these numbers). I also run with the Edge chip on level 4 unless I am towing a heavy load. I looked at a 6.7 and they get worse mileage.

You'll get maybe 30k on a full size truck, maybe a little more on something lighter.

Now it all makes sense.

The Dune Grapplers look cool, but have no siping. They are a good tire for sand or dry street conditions, but not worht much anywhere else. I am very happy with my Cooper Discoverer STT they are a little loud, but wear well and provide excellent traction.

I use a drafting lead holder. Tough and multiple choices for lead hardness. Lead is slightly thicker than the lead in a wooden pencil.

I believe the easiest legal way in to use same engine manufacturer, same year or newer. That being said, I believe the swapped engine must have the same emissions equipment that was on the Land Rover. All said and done, you'll still have to go to the DMV for an inspection and possibly re-VIN...

10-12 psi should be fine in most situations.

How about a master switch on the dash, assuming you are concious after a rollover, all you have to do is hit the switch.
