FJ40Skipper

Finally building Dad's FJ40 the way we always planned. Still doing gobs of research on link length on a triangulated rear setup with the option of front links vs just SOA up front. Going with a 5.3 LS, NV4500 and the split t-case from a FJ60 donor with 4.1 gears in it. I'm thinking 100" (+-) wheelbase and I want stay as close as possible to OEM trackwidth. I'd also like to keep my front fenders stock if at all possible. Right now plans are to run 37's on 17" wheels with 4.56 gears, ARB's and longfield shafts in my axles.

Opinions and "Make sure you don't ... " are very much appreciated. This will be my daily driver.
