2dr XJ, and some JL rubicon axles. Rear end is damn near bolt in, front end isn’t hard to get in. SOA rear, some adjustable arms up front, and cut the fender til the tires fit. Done.

I need some DOM in the next few months. Is there a super secret go-to guy somewhere that I’ll need to venture down a dimly lot alley and learn a secret handshake to deal with? Or is it just a matter of call up local steel mill and politely ask them to use KY when writing me a quote?

It sags to one side, has countless rattles, an odd vibration from who knows where, it smokes, has exhaust leaks, stops eventually, and has multiple fluid leaks…..but I took it to the gas station that is 0.7 miles away (since the gas light has been in for who knows how long), and it made it there...

Well, it drove around the block last night. Certainly makes some noises that need to be investigated before I go too far, or too fast. But it felt to good for a quick cruise.

How much am I going to hate this? It sticks about 9” from the grill. I worry about approach angle and air flow. I could probably get it back another 2-3” or so if I *gasp* chopped up the grill. Also, I’ll be building some sort of “wings” to protect the lights. *Nothing is welded in this pic...
