Yeah, I think you're supposed to stay on top of a plasti-dip paint job and add additional coats or something before it starts getting too crappy. So definitely more maintenance than other options. I did the center hump of my ratty looking hood on the 80 and it came out not looking so hot, but...

Anyone plasti-dipped their vehicle? It's pretty cheap, supposedly easy to do, and non permanent.

I have the scanguage and it works for my needs, but I would not get it just to monitor mileage. It isn't worth the price. And honestly it is pretty outdated. I bought mine maybe seven years ago and they still sell the exact same one. I bought mine to monitor coolant temp more than anything...

Another way to put it: Get better mileage: -Keep your truck as stock as possible -Lose weight -Drive slow -Spend more money than you will save (diesel conversion, regear, new tires, etc) Get longer range: -Any of the above -Carry more fuel Having fun is the ultimate goal, so I vote for...

Trying to save money on gas by making expensive changes to your vehicle is a waste of time, especially if you have a gas hog to start with. Regearing, buying new tires (retireing?) etc would all take forever to break even, especially with fuel prices the way they are. Do them if they help you...

Looking for viton gaskets for my Scepter MFCs. I think I had rubber gaskets in all mine cause all the cap flanges are broken now. So I need cap flanges too. All the places I'm finding with google will cost near $100 to get my four cans in good shape.

There are no animals or fish in Wyoming. There are also no good trails, no good camping, no mountains, or cool deserts. Utah got all the good stuff. Might as well just stay there.... ;)

Has anyone ever seen a US toyota pickup with a factory diesel engine? I've heard rumor of them, but never seen one. Are they actually around? Not as powerful as a 20 or 22R I assume, so nobody wants them? Wonder what the mileage in those things is...
