Have sporadic off-road experience, was on a ride through Pritchett Canyon in 1976 in a CJ-5, then while working as a design engineer at Chrysler on Jeeps etc, went over the Rubicon in 1992 or 93, can't remember for sure. A year later I was the first Chrysler Engineer to bring a Jeep to Moab for testing, a super secret YJ with independent front suspension and link coil rear. I remember doing radiator repair at Devil's Crack on the Moab Rim trail, also remember the V-notch on Poison Spyder.

I used to satisfy my thirst for adventure with snowmobiles and boats, with my body deteriorating, a couple of years ago I turned back to rock-crawling. Have been on several Red Rock 4-wheeler Trail of the Month runs, and my first Easter Jeep Safari this year was a disaster, a dana 35 axle with all the upgrades is still too weak for 35 inch tires.
