I use N-smooth's broker, and they cut my auto policy in half, and my home policy went down about 40% when we switched. It went up a bit last winter, but they to cited it's industry wide. Still happy with the switch.
That's good to know for the future. I ended up just ordering one from RevZilla. It showed up today, so I'll wear it around the house for an hour or so to make sure it fits.
So I found out this came from Washington and he's only had it since November. He added a couple more pictures of the suspension. The front is on coils and the rear is still leaf springs. I'm definitely tempted to go look at it.

I'd look at building a Ford ranger. You can still find them cheapish. The right one will have a decent 8.8 rear axle. The ifs would have better road manners, but you could swap in a d30/d44 from a Jeep. I've seen a few with that done. Bob the bed for a better departure angle. I'm sure you could...
