What's the easy option for first-timer tax filing?

When I was a teenager, I used form 1040EZ for filing my taxes....apparently that's not a thing anymore. My son needs to start contributing to the theft network, what's the easy button for him?

I use TurboTax for mine, but I assume there shouldn't be a need for $45 software for him since it will be really simple.

Last year we just printed out the 1040 for my daughter and filled it in. She only has employment income, so it was pretty straightforward. My other kids had other income (4-H sale) that made it more complicated, so I used the HR Block online program. It's nice because it transferred everything over to the state form. Very simple, but cost a few bucks.

I wasn't aware TurboTax was usable for multiple filings. That's probably the way to go.

Thanks everyone for the input!
