And got my 14bolt yokes, one is a plain Jane yoke, the other is a nice forged yoke with the full cap retainer tabs 👌

So been kinda lazy on this thing. Cory got some sweet axle stands made for his jig table. Got the axles on there n such. Got the rear axle all marked up for cuts so the shafts will be equal length, and also designed up a generic ecm mount you'll probably see on the Richfield boys stuff from now on.

Anywho pics.

First tup, killer axle standage. They're adjustable for different axle widths and heights so tire size, full bump, belly height etc can be configured and can bolted in. You can also adjust them for different wheelbases, right now I'm set at 120".

Then my handy dandy ecm mount, this one I made with a bent down cover as it is going in an open fender well right behind the front tire on our buddies bronco which I have adopted.

And here's numbers n such for my 14bolt rear steer nonsense. Might be helpful to some, heres a sketch of the front axles dimensions.

And my 14bolt insanity. I honestly don't get why they don't full spline these n such but whatever. The long side, ring side, has 3 inches of open tube till the splines start, the short side, bolt side, has 1.250 inches. Making the center between the two in the center of flange the ring gear bolts too. Oh well made it easy to measure off of once I figured that nonsense. Doing the rear end 1inch narrower than the front due to driver side tube length being 1/2" short of what it would take to make it as wide as the front. Measured out 24" out from the center both ways and got the future cut lines

The parts keep rolling in and stuffs getting ready for big movements

First off is the big score! Some Corbeau seats for such a damn good deal I don't even wanna mention the price in gear of jealousy assassination. Plan is to use them for mock up then take them to corbeau and have them recovered with vinyl/cloth covers.

Next is this super cool guy pulley from kartech offroad. It's a 6.5" with a bolt on hub with a 5/8 keyed shaft bore. Hopefully this will work perfect with my fun steering system I plan to run

Next up is another chunk of my steering. I saved a piece off the mango buggy, the steering wheel. Gonna take and weld in the logo and strip the crap powder off and have our buddy clay, premier powder coating, make it close to this ruby red of the quick connect. But add in gold glitter 👌 then after that she'll go to the local saddle place and get wrapped in black leather 🤘

Pto off, time to inspect gears! Oil was beautiful, the guy I got it from said it was in a running dailyed rig.

All stripped, gonna cut off the big lug and plate it then take it to powder coat along with a bunch of other junk to get the red n gold bling bling stuff on it.

Aight yall back from 2 weeks of army fun in the Iowa winter sun. Let's get rolling

Got the 5.3 into the shop and hung it to gut it like a dead animal.

Neat thing with these trailblazer LM4 motors, the front diff goes through the oil pan and the oil filter is in the centerish with a relocation deal inside the pan.

And to give yall an idea of the scheme of this thing, I cleaned up some pieces and threw color on them.

Next part of the motors beautifying was getting it closed back up and new headers, but before I could do that we had to get some broken bolts out. Cory gave me a quick how to and he was able to pull two broken pieces out first go.

Over the years I've learned there's certain pieces that shouldn't get cheap parts or high end unnecessary parts. Here's an example. ACDelco plugs. Only brand that's getting put on this motor when it comes to sensors etc. Could have don't some cool guy high dollar ones but these are tried and true and met the standards of the engineers who spent endless hours designing this nosie making aluminum rock.
