It's pretty much a backdoor way for them to find out who has them by threatening people with a felony if they don't send all their info to the ATF.

Forgive my ignorance but what makes a short barreled rifle or a pistol with a folding arm brace different or more dangerous than a standard rifle or pistol?
It's shorter than a rifle so you can hide it in your coat better, so you can murder more people.
And it's longer than a standard pistol, so you can shoulder it, which helps with accuracy when murdering people.

It helps with the recoil from the 50 cal projectile that the weapon fires at 30 rounds per second. It also helps stabilize a gun that as Sheila Jackson Lee said, "is as heavy as 10 boxes you might be moving. "
Surely a criminal would never use one since it’s illegal to own one without paying a tax.

I've sworn to not get into political discussions/debates online anymore, but am I the only one who feels the Trump trial is a fully staged marketing stunt? Nothing is going to happen to him more than a slap on the wrist. People have sent a supposed billionaire money to help his defense, and all of his followers are just getting riled up in his favor prior to the election cycle as it further pushes his marketing image of Trump vs the establishment/system.
It just seems to be the literal best possible thing he could do right now. I'd say no man has been more effective at using mass media to his advantage, and in that I'd say he's a brass-balled genius.

His political capital is spent.........I just don't think he will accept that fact and wants revenge. I like his approach of America First, and his economic policies, but if he gets elected his lame duck term is going to be about getting even more than moving the country back to where it needs to be.

Hmmm. I'd rather have the water. And Utah does not have a returned bottle/can rebate. If someone is that hard up for drugs, well, it gets me to wonder what the options are. That isn't really a political issue as much as it is societal.

I think it's totally politically motivated....but in Trump's favor. He's against the system, but it's the system that enables him and people like him (politicians and rich businesses/business folk) to slide through things like this and come out the other side more powerful.
I'm not saying it's a conspiracy, because this just feels too obvious. I do think that people don't apply the same standards to "their" person though. Trump is "anti establishment", but he IS the establishment. He's a powerful, rich, old white man that wants to be the one that makes the rules that won't even apply to him anyway.
I would agree that much of his economic policy was decent. But my opinions on his social policy have worn out their welcome here

Trump is "anti establishment", but he IS the establishment. He's a powerful, rich, old white man that wants to be the one that makes the rules that won't even apply to him anyway.

He is part of the powerful business establishment who has used the tax codes and his influence to his advantage to grow his businesses. Being a business owner has financial risk. He is not part of the DC political establishment who uses their influence to grow their personal wealth through influence with no financial risk.I think it's totally politically motivated....but in Trump's favor.
