101.5 has turned into 'Hank Country'. My dial hasn't changed since. No more pop country. No more boy bands. No more same tune different lyrics. It's been swell.
Is that the "yank it with Hank" or whatever billboards I keep seeing? Because somebody needs to talk to them about their phrasing.

I know your post is for lighten the mood but, it makes me think of the song Red Barchetta by Rush. The song was inspired by a 1973 Road and Track article titled, A Nice Morning Drive by Richard S. Foster. Both the article and song describe driving a traditional vehicle and being pursued by futuristic vehicles.

Funny things is, modern airplanes at altitude are giant turds. Sometimes it can take 5 minutes to accelerate 10knots from climb speed to cruise speed. Not a lot of excess thrust on the modern fuel sipping high bypass engines. Buuuuut.... this meme is totally true. Especially on a long cross country on go home day. Just might take you from Omaha to Las Vegas to pull out ahead
