This is not true. My music taste is broad but pretty mainstream? But I'm laughing about the idea of fighting over whether Beyonce is a country artist.

I know your post is for lighten the mood but, it makes me think of the song Red Barchetta by Rush. The song was inspired by a 1973 Road and Track article titled, A Nice Morning Drive by Richard S. Foster. Both the article and song describe driving a traditional vehicle and being pursued by futuristic vehicles.
I love it when folks decide they don't need to land precisely in one of the two Groupthinks they've defined for us. Good for them.
So funny. Confirmation bias is real, so when earth-first types see a Prius they immediately feel a warm vindication of their worldview. This dude is going out of his way to turn their smile to a frown.
