Lighten the mood

It’s not really a city folk issue. There are enough other lights to drown out the bright headlights.
2 lane secluded road at night, and it’s murder.

Or that section on I84 up near Boise that they've got all torn up so it's nice and bouncy and swervy and they've got you like two feet away from a very low set of barricades with oncoming traffic about two feet on the other side of that with their lights right in your damned eyes.

Could. Not. See. Shit. Apparently everybody else could, because while I was white-knuckling along at 60mph everybody was passing me doing 75. Silly farmers can't get their cars over 55 during the daylight, but at night with zero visibility suddenly everyone is a race car driver.

I still play "you no eff me, I eff you..." with headlights often. :D

I try really really hard not to play that game. I try not to flash oncoming drivers at all, but sometimes you have to, and then sometimes they decide to leave their high beams on to be vindictive, and then the bunny burners come into play. Sorry about your retinas, jackhole.

But like I said, I try really hard not to play that game. Too many road ragers packing heat.

I’ve found that doing the opposite is more effective. I turn my headlights off temporarily. It still gets their attention, but doesn’t make them vindictive.
