I decided to go with more of a highway/all terrain I definitely see my fair share of dirt roads and light trail use but mud tires are rather loud on the road.
If you decide to change those up, I've been really happy with Toyo AT3s. I've run them on a couple rigs now. Quiet on the highway, great on road snow and ice, at least as good as any other AT on the dirt and rocks. I decided to go slightly more aggressive on the LX, but it took me a while to make up my mind - those AT3s are definitely decent, and way more aggressive looking than what you're wearing now.

I have a trip coming of the end of June through July that’s going to take me about 3 weeks and be roughly 3500 highway miles. I’ll be doing some back road exploration and stuff too but there’s going to be a lot of highway driving. So I’ll probably just run these for that and then end up going with something different mid summer. Aside from road noise I’m hoping these might show me a little bit of mileage increase also.

For years, I’ve had alignment specialist do my alignments, and I took the van in this morning after all that front end work to have it done and they just didn’t disappoint.

It was ridiculously far out with all the new components plus it being lifted and they just had it dialed in so quickly. It drives fantastic. Super excited to put some more miles on it this summer.

Started fitting up a ghetto AC unit for the summer. I’m thinking my current battery set up Can probably run it for about 6-7 hours. I’ll probably add another hundred amp lithium battery and 400 W of solar panels.. I currently just have a 60 amp DC DC charger and a 340 amp alternator. But that DC DC charger, put a pretty heavy load on the alternator at idle so I think the solar would help supplement running the AC during the day. Extending the runtime by hopefully double.

If this doesn’t end up cutting it, I’ll probably just buy an 11,000 BTU split unit that runs on 12 V. But I have a couple of these sitting in the garage so figured I’d give this a shot first before spending the big bucks for AC.

Finished getting it all sealed up and water tight. I don’t think it’s gonna cool the van on hot days, but it blows directly on the bed so if nothing else it’ll make it bearable to sleep on hot nights. It does look ghetto as hell.
