Loaner #6

Since Cindy's JL went in for a blown head gasket, it has had to go back five more times. From minor stupidity on the part of the tech doing the work to major stupidity on the part of the tech doing the work. Time before this, was for a crankcase ventilation line that had been broken during install and glued back together. Yay Young CJDR... They claim that tech was fired. I believe that like not at all. For context Cindy sent it to LHM first and they diagnosed it but Young was forced to own it.

But anyway... We are sure getting a sampling of new Jeeps as loaners. Have had a Rubicon Gladiator, a base model Gladiator, a JLU Willys, a Rubicon JLU, a 4xe and now a base model JLU. Cindy says it's been six times and I'm forgetting one and she is probably right because I know this isn't the first base model JLU.

Because...

The last base model JLU, for the glued together PCV line, they found a small crack in the bumper when Cindy turned it in and charged me $1,200. It was obvious from the oxidation that crack wasn't recent. But whatever.

Just sick and tired of it. Cindy's Jeep has to GO. I'm pushing a new 4Runner TRD. She's countering with a Sequoia. I hate where this is and I hate where it is going.

My neighbor has a new trd sequoia. Its pretty slick.

I sold my '13 JK after doing the dealer warranty thing with the transmission because it wouldn't shift into 3rd. It went back a few times but I never got a loaner.

I'd prefer to see it far from any pavement :D .

But I appreciate the encouragement. I'm pretty close to caving on the Sequoia though... After 35 years of not just putting up with but encouraging my shit, I kind of owe her whatever I can give.

Then it might get dirty...

I am leery of the TTV6. And likely will be for awhile, until Toyota's 'fix' proves definitive.
