Looks like a newer 302 (serpentine belts) and 5 speed transmission in that car, wouldn't take much to hop it up a bit if the engine is healthy and have a fun beater/cruiser, especially with a 5 speed manual transmission.

Those are in the "so ugly they are cool" Mopar camp for me. The push button trans and such is pretty fun. For a car from PA (or other Great Lakes areas) take a HARD look at the pics for corrosion/rust etc. From the description, it sounds like they've addressed some issues and it's likely safe to drive. The cancer could just create character? In my opinion, the cool thing about this era Mopar is the interior styling and such is just kind of funky early 60's cool. Tons of character on these cars.

383 Mopar doesn't really suck to drive at all. Pretty comparable (debatably stronger running) to a Chev 396 or similar. That'd be a FUN car!

The only time I've watched them is when my buddy was running in the marathon a few summer Olympics ago. Never cared before and probably won't ever again.

I don't watch sports anyway, so my opinion probably doesn't mean much.

I used to love watching the Olympic Games, Winter and Summer, with my family as a kid. After Utah’s turn hosting them while I was in college I haven’t cared at all. Life moving on to other interests I guess.

I am, however, paying some attention to this guy. 😎

My wife has watched a crap ton of the olympics but I've just seen bits and pieces. I like it but I just don't spend a lot of time on TV.

I would however love it if BJJ sanctioning bodies would get their crap together, unify rules, regulate doping etc to get the sport into the olympics. I'd watch the hell out of some jiu jitsu!
