That’s my wife’s cousin Kyle’s. Their whole family is obsessed with Exploders. I often feel like a moron for being a Jeep guy but they’re next level special ed kids by comparison. I can’t think of a single redeeming quality of those things. I guess the frame…?

I had a second gen Explorer for while, 2004 I think. It was comfy enough, and the V6 OHV was amazingly reliable. The only thing I didn't like about it was the electronic transfer case and the auto hubs. The fronts would unlock and relock when reversing so you'd be in 2WD for a second and if the rears didn't hook up and get you rolling the other direction, then you'd be stuck in 2WD, and stuck. Sent me hiking for help a couple times.
