Anyone use Black Point Tactical?
Anyone use Black Point Tactical?
Have you seen Hill People Gear? No personal experience but a couple friends have their chest rig and love them.
this one looked sweet. I wanted one that had the snap strap as there were a bunch of stories about guys loosing the pistol in the thick brush. A
lot of the holsters don't have much retention
That looks like a not quite as good copy of the Gunfighters inc. Kenai. I have the Kenai for a 7-1/2" 44 Mag S&W N frame revolver and it works very well. It's a big revolver but with the angle it just barely fits. Cylinder is right in my sternum. No major excess movement and draws cleanly.Looking for something to hike with.

I wouldn't want anything to do with that for several reasons. If you're carrying it for bears, draw will be MUCH slower than a kydex that fits. Retention isn't a problem if it fits correctly. A properly fitted kydex holster snaps securely in and can be adjusted if need be. That rig won't position as well and will be more bulky and less secure/more "floppy" for lack of a better word. The shell loops will almost certainly interfere with pack and chest pack straps even empty. You can get loops for the Kenai which I have and don't use. They go on the lower straps. I probably would if I didn't have somewhere else for the shells. The Denali™ Chest Holster | Diamond D Outdoors | On Sale

Seems like a lot ($104) for an uncle mikes holster and some webbing.I wouldn't want anything to do with that for several reasons. Look at how the Kenai uses a 2" upper strap sewn in, not on a ring. It makes a difference.
FWIW I carry my revolver higher than that.
