Expedition Utah is holding the annual FYTO run in December. Registration is done via the Expedition Utah forum, and you need to be a supporting member of Expedition Utah to attend.

Details are here: http://www.expeditionutah.com/forum/index.php?threads/2024-fyto.8192/

If you can't get to that page, you aren't a supporting member.

What: Freeze Your Tail Off 2024
When: December 20-21, 2024
Where: Sun Tunnels near Lucin, UT
Who: Supporting Members of Expedition Utah

As in years past, we will have 2 options for trail rides. We encourage full participation in the event for registrants. We’d like to see every attendee get the most out the event and we highly encourage you to join one of the incoming convoys on Friday as well as one the trail ride on Saturday. Even if you’ve been to FYTO before, you won’t want to miss anything at this year's event. We are bringing back the camp decoration competition, and may revisit the conquered territory of OLAFistan!

We have a strong commitment to responsible OHV recreation, Leave No Trace practices, and the principles of Tread Lightly. We encourage everyone in our community to recreate responsibly on both public and private lands. For FYTO, we want to leave our event site better than we found it. The Sun Tunnels and the surrounding area is Private Property, so we need to respect that and leave the area better than when we arrived, and leave no trace when we leave on Saturday.

The participants section of the forum will have all of the important details for the event.

If you still have a question, please contact us at expeditionutah.com@gmail.com, 801‐210‐9978 or on the ExpeditionUtah.com forum.

Thank you and we look forward to seeing you at Freeze Your Tail Off!

This trip has always intrigued me, and is something I'd like to do in the future. I just spent 4 nights camping in Escalante, the Burr Trail, Joshua Tree, and Death Valley, and loved every minute of it. I need to buy some more equipment before I can become a real overlander. X-D

I talked a lot of crap on roof top tents for many years, but it sure made our Idaho trip awesome. I was quite surprised with how comfortable it was.
