Ever stayed at the Gonzo Inn in Moab?

I have a handful of times and it's always been good. I was there this last week working and our crew had 15-20 rooms depending on the night. The owner/operator (Deniz) is new to the business and runs it with what I'm guessing is a girlfriend or wife? and her brother, all from Turkey.

They are kicking ass and made our stay rock despite folks from our group checking in and out all week, etc. Just rockstars.

I went to leave them a 5-star google review and found what I consider a disgusting review from someone I want to smack with a tire iron.

I'm not asking for random reviews but if you've had a good experience at the Gonzo Inn, help some good folks out.

So much of the Moab tourism industry (hell, this entire country for that matter) is dependent on foreigners.

Some of the best service I’ve ever had at the Moab Brewery was a gal from Turkey.

I’ve never stayed there, but I will specifically check them out next time I book accommodations to help them out and give them a shot.

Edit: I also reported that review for discrimination/hate speech.

Wild, didn’t even look at their other reviews. Autumn Fitzgerald is my cousin’s wife. The two have practiced law in Moab for decades. I’ll have to ask her if she knows ‘C Boyd’.

That's messed up. I don't normally hotel in Moab but next time I do I'll give them a spin.

Thanks for taking the time to help a fellow business owner. Seeing an issue and taking positive action is so easily dismissed, but it may be the one thing that keeps them from giving up.

I’ve stayed there in the past. Just left a review. Thanks for the heads up on this. It’s important to support local businesses and do what we can to drown out the negativity from those that just aren’t happy in life and want to make others miserable with them.
