Here's what I've been working on the last few weeks, in mostly-picture form. ;)

This is my son's '87 Fiero GT. This swap will be stalled for the next couple months since he'll be out of town at school, but hopefully can get wrapped up pretty quickly once he returns. For now:LZ9.jpgLZ9 Shortblock.jpgLZ9 heads on.jpgLZ9 coolant blocks.jpgLZ9 coolant block on head 1.jpgLZ9 coolant block on head 2.jpgLZ9 modified manifold.jpgLZ9 throttle body adapter.jpgLZ9 without LIM.jpgLZ9 with LIM.jpg

And for a short description: LZ9 (actually LGD, the flex-fuel version) from a 2007 Uplander. Heads reversed, using the Fiero 2.8 timing cover and water pump, flywheel and clutch, and alternator. An LZ4 upper intake manifold, a 75mm GM truck throttle body, a cam and timing set for an Equinox. It will use a Megasquirt MS3 Pro Mini to run it, and in the end should provide roughly ~100 horsepower more than the 2.8 that came out--plus a bunch more torque too. (135 HP is what the V6 in the GT is supposed to make, 240 HP for this thing)
