    Jeep Crawler Bench Build

Leafs have lots of limitations, long arms and coil springs with quality shocks would ride and work so much better, on road and off. My JKU on longarms rode AMAZING, and the old TJ I built with a LJ longarm worked killer offroad.

I hate FB, but it's a good way to stay connected to friends and family. Marketplace is my weakness though, I spend way too much time looking for things I don't need.

    Jeep Crawler Bench Build

Built LJ on 37's with JK axles, Atlas, Auto for $27k. Soft top though, so you'd have to find a hardtop. It's been listed for awhile I think, so the price may have some wiggle room. https://www.facebook.com/share/128oE2YeN6Y/

    Jeep Crawler Bench Build

Combining that deep first gear of the 8 speed WITH a 4 to 1 in a Rubicon and you have incredible gearing and precise control. I love my Rubicon Gladiators gearing, with all that wheelbase and 39's it makes a lot of challenging obstacles look like nothing at all... with the expense of dragging...

    Jeep Crawler Bench Build

IMO a 4 to 1 low range will make all the difference on the proper technical trails, weather you end up with a Rubicon or a Jeep with an Atlas t-case.

    Jeep Crawler Bench Build

I'd look hard for an already built vehicle, LJ or TJ IMO. You'll save money and be ahead with a turn-key Jeep, versus building it yourself. If you're willing to drive for the right vehicle, that'll open up your options. Decided what level of trails you want to run and the needed tire size...

    Best Comealong/manual winch option

Best option if you don't have an actual winch, IMO!

    Best Comealong/manual winch option

Using a come-along works, but it's exhausting. I'd love to have a Pullzall. Recently I've used another vehicle with a winch to load my non-driving vehicles onto the trailer. 😁 I have a Harbor Freight 3500# winch mounted on my trailer and about 2 years after buying it, it stopped working. That...

The Car conundrum, what to buy.

Had a rental Mustang with the 2.3T Ecoboost and it was a RIOT to drive. I bet the V8 is even more fun.

    Offroad floor jacks

I found myself needing a offroad floor jack for work projects, being a railroad field mechanic means not always working in a shop with a nice concrete floor, but in the dirt and rocks next to and between the RR tracks. I was looking at the Harbor Freight Badland floor jack which costs $300, but...
