Beer can = women's rights and child's childhood. Same thing. Gotcha. ;)

    Political So now what

Not sure Kathy Griffith hosting the has is an actual threat. I agree there was a lot of vague threats towards Trump.... but I didn't hear about anything that had threats against multiple elected officials with mentions of how they would do it. I do agree with Houndoc's assessment. It's...

    Political So now what

I still don't get it. Again, it wasn't a national campaign....so WGAF? They did a promotion for someone trying to drum up sales. They never forced those views on anyone else. As far as I can tell, they aren't actively supporting issues that actually SUPRESS anyone's rights, so why the...

    Political So now what

I don't drink beer, so I didn't really follow the whole Bud Light debacle...but from what I have heard, Bud Light simply made a few cases with the trans women's face on it and sent them to her right? Why does everyone give a crap? It doesn't sound (at least from what I've seen) that they...

What did you work on Today; Home Edition

I don't know why I do this..but I am sure most here can relate. Throwing another project into the mix of your 10 other half finished projects. The neighbor has asked about us doing something to keep the dirt from our planting bed contained. Over the years the rain, and...

Marc Bryson lazy "build" -JT Gladiator Rubicon

If you ask A LOT of truck guys (another site in particular) you definitely need an F350 for that load. It also needs to be a single cab long bed base model with rubber floor and manual trans....otherwise it is not a real truck.

I also like watching TileCoach and Startile when it comes to tiling. They give good advice as well. Renovision is one I catch often as well....I do like his channel.

'71 Impala 4 door... what should I do with it?

If this is what you enjoy, then go for it. I totally get doing something you enjoy regardless of the financial implications of it. My main/initial comment was more about, you have so many other projects already going on.....and that given those, the less desirable nature of this car makes it...

What did you work on Today; Home Edition

what is the room with the bumped out windows on the 2nd floor? Have you thought about building a deck for up there (assuming it's the master bedroom or something) Having it run along the length of the house? That would obviously be a lot more expensive, but it should help cool down the...

'71 Impala 4 door... what should I do with it?

um. why? No offense, but I think, by the time you invested into it with getting it cleaned up will not be returned. It is not an attractive car, the pics make it look rough, and even as a driver I wouldn't expect to get much more then 2-3k out of it. I think putting that...

What did you work on Today; Home Edition

My in-laws have a 2 story house that faces west. They have a similar problem due to being in some of the newer (past 20 years) parts of West Jordan with few trees. They had their windown professionally tinted with a UV specific tint. They used to have a really hard time keeping the...

What did you work on Today; Home Edition

I have had quite a saga at the house the last few weeks...and today I got to do a lot of work that I planned on doing but not until the fall. A little back story. We are finally adding on a small extension that will house a new kitchen. It is only 12x20, basement and main level....nothing...

    Coronavirus

You guys are missing the synergy. Coffee in the morning + Monster in the afternoon > EVERYTHING. In weekends add a little Rumchata to the coffee and a little Vodka to the Monster and you are ready to rock

    Adding trailer ramp assists

I have seen those, but the hinges on mine don't allow it. I found this online, not the best pic, but this is the hinge mine has. it is a 3 part hinge with the center section having a grease zerk. the only way I can see adding it is to drill out the pin and get a longer pin, putting the...

    Adding trailer ramp assists

I recently bought 7x12 utility trailer. I need to add expanded metal to the 4' tall ramp which is already heavy and designed pretty stout. I realize I need to add some sort of spring assist to the ramp. Has anyone done this? I found the Gorilla assets but don't like the idea of having...

What did you work on Today; Home Edition

I've been working on my family rentals. Too many years of neglect from the PM company and not enough oversight by me or my siblings while my parents declined in health for a few years. No real pics but I am finally wrapping up a pretty large reno on a single 2 bed unit. New kitchen...

    Gladiator wheel/tire solution

Your 13.5's do look wide.....BUT, my guess it is more related to the wheels and the offset. You wheels place a much larger portion of the tire outside the fender. I think that plays more on the overall view of how wide it looks. Here is a pic of my SAS'd Rodeo on the 35x13.5 next to my DD...

    Pick My Next Truck

My vote a modern 1/2 ton. For what you listed a modern half ton will do it all pretty easily. On an F150 I would look for the 5.0. The EB's are good motors generally..but there really isn't a mileage gain nor much "eco" about them. The Chev/GMC motors are durable and there are a lot out...
