    CJ seems to be good to go, I don't know if it was the pressure regulator or the fuel pump. But it's got good fuel pressure and runs like a champ again!

    This is what my CJ was painted with, has held up great but doesnt give a "show quality" finish I was expecting out of a cal ranch paint job. :rofl:

    So I pulled the fuel pressure regulator apart tonight and everything looked kosher. But since its apart I threw a rebuild kit in it anyways. I didn't have time to get the fuel pump and tank put back in so we will wait to see if it runs better tomorrow night.

He then told me they had a Black one in stock. The awesome part is they credited me back almost 400 bucks for settling...

    Are those a common failure? I found one on oreilly website but it said operating pressure was 55+ PSI. I was under the impression these motors ran on 12-15

    I am only getting 6 PSI of fuel pressure right before the throttle body. I dropped the tank and everything looked 100 years old so I'll refresh that. The hose connecting the fuel pump to the pickup was broke down bad I pulled it apart with out undoing hose clamps... How are these fuel systems...

    We use Yukon, Spicer and Nitro and in that order. Spicer is Prime they are just more than alot of people want to pay

    So tonight I checked voltage and it seems to be staying consistent. I also swapped the fuel filter. Still running like dog poo... LS swap seems like a likely candidate. I'll throw a few more nights at this and see what I can figure out. Do these TBI motors have any sensors that would cause...

    As I was buttoning things up last night, I turned the fans off so I didnt have to listen to it run, with the fans off the started up and idled fine. As soon as I turned the fans back on the Jeep stuttered and died. So I Think the fan is pulling enough juice and not letting the ECM stay at 12+...

    My fuelnpressure tester starts at 15 so no help on my TBI motor BUT, it runs better the higher in the RPMs you get so I don't think it's a fuel supply issue?

    I can say with almost certainty it will cost.more than the behemoth but the behemoth shifters are a joke so the case is pretty much worthless.

    So my CJ7 has a 1995 tbi 350, it runs like total dog poo as of lately. It hesitates off of idle with a load on it. And acts like it's misfiring at times. Does anybody know the ins and outs of these motors? I don't feel like messing with it to much. If it's going to cost more than a few hundred...

    Beefed up Dana 300

    Any kind of gear reduction in front of a 300 will destroy one in pretty short order. The only way a 300 will survive long term is with JB conversion gears, a stak case and 32 spline outputs. Now you are atlas money... I run a stak 300 in my moonbuggy but the portals downstream take the stress...
