68 f250 has a manual, that was my first car and I still own it, my 2001 f250 powerstroke has a built 4r100 😰 my 99 tj has a manual, my wife’s Fusion Energi is a Cvt 😰 and then the Chinese-ium bike that I drive every day has a clutch of course.

have you purchased a reman before? The reviews are horrendous to read on a lot of them, I know most people only review failures but man some horror stories. Anyone have any recommendations on a good place to buy one?

so, I had to edit this, my daughter is going to learn to drive stick, if for no other reason than if she is ever somewhere and needs to drive someone to safety and there is only a manual trans vehicle (think back country off roading) she will be capable to do it :) so for the rant earlier.

I had just looked at this on Facebook marketplace, was considering it for my daughter’s first car…. She said she doesn’t want a wrangler.. who the hell is in High school and doesn’t want a wrangler to drive? I’m starting to loose faith in this generation.

Talk to me jeep people, I need advice on clutches for this rig. Do I want to get the heavier flywheel (26lbs) or stay stock? I will tear the motor down over the next week to see if I have any major damage from the two broken piston skirts that have probably been broken for at least five years...

Well I haven’t updated on this for a while, my ripped meniscus in both my knees has made it difficult to get down and do much on the truck…. That being said unfortunately our jeep is the current project. Started as a water pump replacement and now it’s this :
