After doing this trip last summer, skip most of Wyoming and concentrate on South Dakota. It's a sudden change from windswept lifeless WY to awesome mountains and stuff. 🙂

As the title states....I have 5 rolls of Johns Manville R13 Kraft faced insulation I don't need anymore. Still new, never opened. Looks like they sell for ~$20 per roll at HD/Lowe's, so how about $50 for these 5?

Those lines are OK where they are. You probably have to bend them around a bit to fit....I can't remember right now. But you don't need to relocate them.

Oof. With me knowing nothing more than that screenshot---those uprights and mounting feet look smaller than mine. Maybe an 8K lift vs. my 10K? Also, with where the arms are placed (in the middle of the truck fender/door), I'm wondering if it slipped first, so it was a falling "shock load" to...

I put a Redhead on my 2000 F-350. Not as dramatic a difference to what you're describing, but enough that I also put one on my Land Cruiser later. Good stuff. :cool:

If you haven't already, look for a gas bottle on KSL or whatever. It doesn't have to be welding gas, any inert gas bottle can be exchanged for what you need, and should save $$ compared to just buying from Airgas or whoever. They do care about having the stickers on the tank, and the thread-on...

Specs on motors lie so much. Compressors are one of the worst offenders, it seems. There is no way it's actually making 5hp. Not trying to bag on your compressor....just every manufacturer's inflated specs.

That's why I did the hybrid D44/D60 thing on my Cruiser. :) The width I wanted, the 60 U-joints/ball joints, and the smaller pumpkin. (with the Jantz kit to fit the D50 gears, and 35 spline shafts)

That takes care of that one. :) Do you want to change wheel bolt patterns? IIRC you can't fit a 5x4.5 pattern around a D44 hub.
