    Political So now what

Except as I posted earlier...these candidates are already laying down framework to claim a stolen election. They are already claiming voting irregularities. I am mostly just poking fun at how if they lose it's rigged/stolen or whatever.....but if they win it's the will of the people...

    Political So now what

I guess the Dem's aren't as good at stealing elections as MAGAites think they are :stirpot:

And on the elections front. They are already setting the seeds of doubt. She must be taking directly from Trump's playbook https://www.yahoo.com/news/nbc-reporter-confronts-kari-lake-205840633.html

Wow. I guess, based on the arguments, it was only a matter of time. https://www.yahoo.com/news/georgia-residents-now-claim-embryos-131441456.html

    Porch conversion

No real clue...but I would guess 10k min. Just A rough figure. Between the exterior wall and finish, interior finish, I can't see it being much cheaper unless you did it all yourself. I assume you would try to blend the siding? The interior may require new flooring if you can't...

What did you work on Today; Home Edition

With the saga of the concrete at my rental past me...I began working on the fence after I recovered from Covid. I also laid sod on both lawns that were junked by concrete guys (as well as weed infested) and laid new sprinklers. I still have the backside to do (pickets on both sides) But...

    Garage Door Project

looks good overall. I hate contractors, but like @STAG learned, working for yourself you make less and work longer/harder. Honestly, that is one of the reasons I haven't tried the handyman gig. I enjoy the work, but I know I couldn't let things be done without them being "perfect" that...

    Political So now what

The spend, spend with no regard is not a Democrat only issue. The Republican's have had basically zero restraint in their spending in the last 20+ years. Neither party is fiscally conservative IN ANY WAY....they just spend the money in different ways. I would believe this if people weren't...

School me on swaybars and link geometry

I don't meant to shrink the arms...just the end links. I don't know if shorter end links have any affect on the effectivness of the sway bar. I can see it would put the arms out of parallel, but I am not sure if it would have any affect on the performance. Currently the links keep the...

School me on swaybars and link geometry

I managed to move the endlinks to the holes closest to the axle. This seemed to help a little bit with the body roll. Would getting shorter links (pulling the arms further out of parallel to the ground) help or do nothing?

Man, it's like we have/had the same concrete company.

School me on swaybars and link geometry

With my Rodeo on the market (had someone test drive it today) I figured I could help myself sell it as well as make it more street friendly to a new buyer. The rear has a swaybar on it. It is mounted to the axle and the links go to the frame. The links are just generic Rubicon Epxress...

    Political So now what

No..but I see him for what he is. He is a rhe biggest narcissist there is. Who has never done any wrong(in his eyes). He is a grifter of epic proportion. I can't stand any person that acts like him. He is just the most vocal of them. If he had a tiny ounce of humility I may hold...

    Political So now what

What a piece of work. He is the biggest pompous piece of shit that exists. Not that I like Biden....but I certainly can't stand Trump as a person SO much more.

    Political So now what

I have noticed that when I look at the listings (stupid, nerd thing I do daily) there are far more homes listed starting 4 or 5, where a few months ago I would've seen 5 or 6 or 7. I have even seen a few in the 3xx,xxx price range for single family homes. Seems that the rate hikes really...

For Sale SAS'd '96 Isuzu Rodeo

It has come time to actually try and sell this thing. I swapped a plug and coil boot that should get rid of the CE light. It drives and idles smooth now....I just need to cycle it enough to make sure it clears....but so far it is running great. Updated first post with pricing. I need to...

New garage shop construction - light gangs or outlet gangs for lighting?

I bought 4' LED shop lights from Amazon for my garage. They wire in like standard lights. I see outlets as the most common way to plug in lights, but I didn't want that. These are the ones I bought https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07C7HYVR1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

General Tech What did you work on Today?

So I mentioned I was going to be getting my Rodeo up for sale. Today I pulled it in to try and figure out the CE light. My cheap code reader gave me a 0306. I start tearing I to it and realize I didn't change this plug last time I swapped plugs...because it is a PIA to get to. Well no...

What did you work on Today; Home Edition

Since I am in quarantine for round 2 of Covid I tackled a project while my daughter played in the sprinklers (OK so it took a lot longer then when she played in the sprinkler and really tookna out 6 hours) i ran wire for and installed outdoor speakers on the new patio that is on the side of...

    Garage Door Project

Not to derail @jeeper 's thread but the guy finished today....and after I had to have him fix ANOTHER thing (he sent me pics and poured the extension to the fence post but formed against it so the post is not full encapsulated in concrete) he called me and raised his voice to me and basically...
