your truck has more than enough rust protection from the factory. all you will do is make a mess of the bottom of your truck.

I have always just wiped down the wall and ceiling with a damp towel. you don't need to sand the primer. I would suggest you cover the floor very well and wear a hood to keep the paint out of your hair and cover your face as good as you can.
