A few years ago the Firebirds race was late may. It was 90 degrees when we started. I usually try and drink a gallon a day the week of a race. I had done that, then downed a quart of pedialyte the morning of and drank 3 liters of water during the race. I ran out of water 3/4 of the way...

This looks awesome. I have good intel that the road over timberlakes is open all the way to wolf creek pass. Looks like it's 97 miles from my house, probably closer to 75 if you start from Heber.

I also think kids that do physically and mentally taxing things are just better people. Racing is physically hard and you absolutely will get hurt. Facing that willingly and for nothing other than the sense of accomplishment is probably a mental condition but it makes good people.

Timely, but my brother who I am mad at for the above stated reason had a WR250F. I trail rode it a bit with him last year when he bought it and it is an amazing bike. I am just as fast on it as my 300 2T. You might consider one of them. Lights are already there, just needs a street legal...

The last two sets if tires I have bought are the BFG and the Toyo. I like them both. On a heavy truck, I won't run BFG AT's any more they are bald in under 30k miles. The AT3's are on my F350 and have no noticeable wear in over 10k miles. I just put BFG AT's on my tacoma and they are great...

I bought my first dirt bike with money earned by mowing lawns professionally. I then mowed my dad's lawn to support my gas and Yamalube habit. I mowed if before the dirt bike for free but he started paying me when I needed gas money. Dude would buy any gun I wanted to shoot competitively but...

RME kids are pretty kick ass people. People talk about "kids these days". I tell them they need to have better friends. All my friends, both internet and otherwise have pretty cool kids. Maybe that's because they have cool dads?
