    Snowbikes!

You'll love it! I have a buddy who bought one last year and it literally made him a better rider. You'll love it! A friend of mine picked one up last year and it literally made him a better rider. Plus... those things are mountain goats. They climb incredible for a stock sled!

    Snowbikes!

Oh I disagree. Maybe we need to go ride this season. I've heard a lot of people say that same thing, and in most cases I think it's true but I almost exclusively ride tight/steep trees and I have yet to have a snow biker leave me behind. I think a skilled snowmobiler can take his sled most...

    Snowbikes!

Sweet Bike! For me they're not a replacement for Snowmobiles. It's a different kind of riding, slow and smooth like. I've seen a bunch of guys switch from sleds to snow bikes but in my opinion those were mostly guys who couldn't overcome the steep learning curve of a sled. If you ride dirt...

Help me decide my next project.

It's yours. I was going to try to keep the C30 2wd, the only hurdle I'm having is how to get the front end lifted up a little bit. No one makes a lift kit for a 2wd.

Help me decide my next project.

I knew you guys were going to protest me removing the Cadillac motor. It's a HUGE motor.....not very powerful, generates a TON of heat, and sucks fuel like crazy. Also....these dumb trucks only have an 18 gallon fuel tank. ....It does run well though and sounds great so maybe there is some...

Where to have a locker installed

Hey guys. In an effort to improve the road manners of my YJ I think I'm going to upgrade my rear locker (or both lockers) to a full-carrier type locker. Something that will handle more like an open diff on the road. First question is where would you guys recommend I go to get one installed...

Looking for this truck. Anyone recognize it?

Well randomly I'm out for a midnight stroll with my dog.... I felt bad he was cooped up all day. During my walk I pass an all to normal, nothing special about it delivery truck in a church parking lot and think to myself...."hmmmmm.....now there's a truck that has absolutely nothing special...

    Airbrushes

back when I was a kid I used to build a lot of models. I bought a cheapo single stage air brush from Harbor freight. Worked great for models! Most of the painting I did was solid colors but I did do some shadowing for exhaust stains and such. The cheapo worked great for that.

Another impulse purchase.....I'm getting a little carried away.

Yeah. The v-tail isn't an easy plane to fly. They build speed quickly and are very easy to over speed. Early in their production pilots would over speed the plane and the tail feathers would flutter and break. They since have all been fixed to amend that issue but it gave them a spotty history.

Yeah. They did the weight and balance. I have the report. The paint job was quite extensive, the pictures don't quite show it. I'll be keeping a close eye on the weights. You don't want to risk being tail heavy.

Will do! I plan on heading down there in the next few weeks. It's an absolutely beautiful plane. The dark section is like a chameleon paint, it's somewhere in between purple, maroon and teal. Someone went pretty crazy on the paint job. I could take or leave the flames but everything was...

Another impulse purchase.....I'm getting a little carried away.

Ha ha....No....Not quite.... I'm very much so putting the cart before the horse. I started flying in November. I probably won't have my license for a couple months. I do have about 50 hours now though. I've been flying quite a bit. It's going to be quite a jump though going from a Cessna 152...

What year fords had radius arms with solid axles?

They still do. One of the bronco boneyard websites had them but I'm thinking more along the lines of these. https://www.barnes4wd.com/Coil-Spring-Tower-Pair_p_273.html
