Might be something as simple as worn out shock bushings. My brother had some bad ones on his truck and it seemed to have a feel similar to what you are describing. I would recommend Wide Open Performance in Sandy. They've always been straight up with me.

Yeah, I would say first, try to work it out with the shop that screwed up. Get some kind of commitment in writing as to when they will have the work complete. If they are unwilling to step up and make it right then I agree with Attilia, post up the name of the shop so that no one else gets...

It's probably the vacuum actuator in the front axle. My wife's '91 4runner has a vacuum disconnect on the third member, there should be two vacuum lines running to the differential. Probably didn't get hooked up when the previous owner swapped the motors.

I used a hi lift on each front corner of mine, and a genie lift on the back to lift mine up enough to set it on my trailer rails. The hi lifts actually weren't that bad, but i guess having them at all 4 corners might be a little scary. The logs sound like a good option if you don't want to use...

Yup, another vote here for Gaylon's. I've had them build or modify at least 7 or 8 drivelines for me over the years. I have yet to break one or to have a bad experience with them. Great prices, and things are done when they say they will be done.
