So I have a leveled 2007 2500HD with the duramax. I’m in the market for a shock upgrade was thinking bilstein 5100 but wondering what you guys would recommend.

Yep if it’s foam board behind probably soft. Hard to say where I haven’t seen it but soft is thinner probably less than 1/8 inch maybe 1/16

So basically hard coat has some type of cement in it. Soft coat you can cut with a razor knife.

Is it hard or soft coat stucco? My bro in law does soft coat but it’s less common

I totally agree that not all sxs owners tear things up. We have a can am turbo 4 seat and most of the time it’s forest roads and trails at low speed. It is awesome to have the power to blast the dunes but only done that once.

I don’t own a JL we bought a 18 jkur but I do like the the new rubicon fender clearance. Would be awesome to do small lift and run 37”s. The jk is my wife’s and with 10k on it the dealer just replaced the radiator so I’d say that’s an area to watch. Really no other issues but it’s still stock.
