    Wanted Looking for a project

Any interest in a Chevy tracker? Early 2000’s, auto, 4 cyl 2.0, timing chain let go so would likely need a rebuilt head at minimum. It’s been sitting a few years, and definitely a project. It has no wheels or tires, but I could lend a set to help load it on a trailer. I’d like to get around...

Have you ever Rage Quit a job?

As much as I’ve wanted to, my dad always taught me to never quit a job until I had another lined up. Closest I’ve got though was on the last day of my two weeks, got drug into the office for some BS. Once I explained my side and they understood I was in the right, they asked me to go complete...

Jobs! Looking for a job? Is your company hiring? Post up here!

Sorry to hear about your wife’s job. Pretty sad a company couldn’t find another position for somebody that worked there that long. Perhaps she could look for work with Clyde companies? They got a large range of “mining” type operations all through Utah.

    Random picture thread

I just saw that TJ on Facebook the other day. The guy was selling a set of 6 tires off it.

    Today I Want This....

That’s sick. I just look up the address on the Utah County assessor, and then on fastpeoplesearch, to find the property owner, and hopefully a current phone number. Just bought another Suzuki last week this way. Or, give me the address, and I’ll go ask about it!

General Tech What did you work on Today?

I had a leftover samurai winch plate from LowRange, but no samurai, so I used it to mount a Badlands 9,500lb on my trailer. I ran it off some long jumper cables to the battery on my Yukon.

    Suzuki XL-7 build- “XL7-UP”

They’re multiplying! For $300, I can make money whatever I do….UNLESS I keep it and end up daily driving or wheeling it. Also, I can confidently say, in over 35 vehicles bought, I’ve never lost a title, until today. Signed it all up….then promptly lost it I guess, while I was more focused on...

    Today I Want This....

I have seen many have the 5th gears physically present, but locked out, and they can be modified to be used. Not sure which brands have that though.

    Today I Want This....

I just had to look it up on youtube. Pretty interesting that there's no easy to shift without reaching under to do that. I wonder if anybody makes a linkage and shifter kit to do it from the cab?

    Today I Want This....

I will have to try the Suzuki Carry. When I attempted to fit in the one I tried out (I think it was a Mitsubishi), I was not able to get my right leg in between the steering wheel and door. Sounds similar to your Acty experience. I still want the NPR though anyways!

    Today I Want This....

Those are so sick! But I am 6’5”, and can’t fit in one, I tried. I do want to build an Isuzu NPR as a larger version.

    Thoughts on GMT800/900 Tahoes?

I’ve had both, my current daily is an ‘05 Yukon I gave $500 for. My brother used to run a business rebuilding 4l60’s, he said the #1 killer is overheating them. So I ran a Tru-Cool 40k cooler on my old ‘07. I have one to install on my ‘05, just haven’t done it yet. Another good upgrade is the...

    Road trip idea

The Legends motorcycle museum in Springville seems pretty cool. I've never been through the whole thing, just stepped foot into the building a few times though.

    Little Moab tomorrow, 11/2

It was a good day over all. Another XL7 owner joined us. Only one blown CV.

    Little Moab tomorrow, 11/2

Friend of mine with a Suzuki XL7 will be here tomorrow. He already spent a week in Moab, but is heading north on his way back home. Anybody interested in wheeling out at Little Moab tomorrow afternoon? Pic of his rig below for reference of what we’ll be in.

    Preferred Fencing Company Utah County

I think it's a Utah thing, people are too nice and scared to tell the truth, in addition to just not knowing what decent work looks like. Just like the places like Any Hour services, they're notorious for ripping people off and lying to customers, yet they still have 5 stars on google. Also...

FWIW, Home Depot sells 4" PVC fence caps as well. Not sure if the style is the same as yours, but I do know I had looked at them this summer when I was wondering if was a decent idea to try and do a 40' section myself or not.
