    Picked up a trailer

Hope you don't mind me threadjacking, Greg, I'd like to ask, did you, or have you guys, considered running LT tires instead of trailer tires? I tried doing some research before I settled on some take off LT continental tires for my single axle. There seems to be a ton of conflicting info both...

    Suzuki XL-7 build- “XL7-UP”

Did quite a bit today. Focused on getting the non custom stuff reassembled. Crossmember is back in, removed the pile of bolts and screws from the air box, got all the trans plugs and shift cable connected. Then I test fit the new passenger control arm, cycled it for clearance testing, and...

    What makes a canoe stable?

I’m no expert by any means on the stability thing, but, my dad has a gheenoe. Bit of a hybrid between a canoe, and a flat bottom. It is extremely stable and great for fishing. Paddles similar to a canoe, and has a flat back you can clamp a trolling motor to.

How would you repair this? Weld/Fab on excavator bucket

What’s the top speed that excavator can hit on the rails? Can they couple it to an engine and pull it pretty fast? Just curious. Bucket looks good too!

    Today I Want This....

All you do is talk to the DMV and tell them you want to change the fuel type to diesel. You'll probably need to pay the fee to have a corrected title. But after that, it's easy. Not trying to be a jerk, but it's not hard at all.

    Today I Want This....

Yes. By federal law, yes, you cannot remove any device that came factory, EGR, Catalyst, evap can, etc, but Utah county has diesels pre ‘98 exempt, so it’s an easy work around. When it came time to register/renew my samurai, I just showed them the title, that it listed the fuel as diesel, and...

Land Rover Bench Build: Range Rover L322

I honestly think these Rovers are cool, but everybody I've ever known that has had one, has had as you mentioned, the electrical issues. It seems if you can get those ironed out, that they're decently built otherwise.

    Spotted

Not quite the typical spotted vehicle post. I saw this bucket today on I15 in Provo. I’m curious what loader this would go to? Something at the mine I’m guessing? After some googling, I believe it’s a bucket from an L-2350.

    Today I Want This....

Its a Nissan SD33 NA diesel engine, so pre 1998, anything diesel is exempt. As far as I know, the YJ's never came factory with them, but the CJ10A's did, so it's probably swapped. They're gutless from what I hear, but somewhat reliable. Also, converting something pre 1998 to diesel is actually...

    Today I Want This....

It’ll sit until the owners pass away, and the millennial kids/grandkids scrap it because, “it’s a junky old truck” Take a stack of hundies and a bottle of good whiskey and try to finagle it!

Does anyone on here do pest control? This could be a longshot

There’s a high chance that squirrel will be back. Pretty sure they’re like pigeons, they can and will travel back to their home nesting area. Somebody my dad knows spray painted a pink spot on the tail of one, released it 4-5 miles away, and a couple weeks later it was back.

    Suzuki XL-7 build- “XL7-UP”

I did just that, the bottom plate is now at a slight angle, I’ll have to measure exactly. After studying other aftermarket arms, they all seem to be built that way too. One thing to note, by doing that, as well as by putting the ball joint under the arm, I can gain another inch of lift while...

My welding gloves are fitting much better, thank you for asking. I was wondering why they were so loose and floppy before!
