For some perspective, the community I live in (roughly 15k residents) has 33 confirmed cases but the number is actually much higher as the local health officials have discontinued testing. So far no one has died and only one has needed hospitalization.

I dont fear the virus, but I do fear the panic the media is whipping up. This is going to have long lasting effects on our economy. Everything here is closing as well, local college went to online only, all public events are cancelled, 1 of 3 school districts (Asspen) closed for 14 days.

I am really going to have a great time next week on our vacation when we don't have to fight other people to go anywhere
