Yup, it certainly seems to meet that definition I don't want to see it shut down, I enjoy the events, and when done properly they can do a lot to pick up trash and promote use of our public lands. I would like to see some personal accountability

Not sure how it works, but I don't believe there are permits involved

No Curt, they get around the permit because it is a free impromptu gathering. Usually they do a bit of good by picking up a lot of trash, although that also seemed to be missing from this years event.

I laid out a nice 250 mile loop near Vernal last night I have a bunch of ideas for different courses

What took you out Cam? I saw you a couple times on day one but we ran backwards after checkpoint 2 to get out of the traffic so we were kind of on our own all day

The guys who acquired our "Green latrine" car from last year told me it's available if anybody is looking for a ride. You could have it ready to run in a half day or so. Needs an exhaust scabbed on
