Bored? Check out this actual documentary: Out of Shadows

Wow! That was pretty amazing. I didn't really know what to expect when I started it, but I was riveted throughout!

    Coronavirus

This has been true for the last three+ years. And for those who may want to put a political label on me - don't . Labels do no good in any situation as they ALWAYS hinder and / or block discussion.

    Coronavirus

I get you have strong feelings, I didn't walk anything back. And, your statement about balancing does agree with the sentiment of the article. You don't agree with me, that's fine, no hard feelings. Without re-reading the article I don't recall that he had a specific timeframe for finding...

    Coronavirus

Relax Francis, you're actually agreeing with the article and with me with your comments of finding a balance. I have been paying attention to the numbers and I have been doing my part to stay home. I'm not basing my opinion off of anything except reality - eventually (note that I've not...

    Coronavirus

That's a good article. I don't think the American public will stand to be quarantined for too long. People have families to feed and they aren't working. I'm not opposed to the government helping people for a short term, but very opposed to long term government handouts. Eventually, the...

    BlackSheep II

I've not been working on BlackSheep much since I got Galahad (my van - yes I changed the name...). However, when the temp tag for Galahad expired, I needed to get BlackSheep back on the road. The thing I needed to do was re-install the front driver fender. I'd removed it a few months (!!) ago...

    Coronavirus

I'm also telecommuting. My job makes it easy to do so. They're saying that we'll likely maintain this for more than the 2 weeks originally planned (last week and this week) by pushing it into April.

    BlackSheep's new ride "Galahad"

It is still IFS. It's not as hardcore as the Econoline models. I wanted the 4x4 for MILD wheeling, mostly just so I could have some confidence in getting a bit off-grid without as much concern as if I only had 2wd. I think they take the components from the F150. It is a selectable T-case...

    BlackSheep's new ride "Galahad"

A few more photos, I've played around with the interior config a lot (a couple configs in the first post). Still playing... and a couple of shots of the gear slide.

    BlackSheep's new ride "Galahad"

I had alluded to an upcoming purchase in the past. I made the order in early September 2019 and on February 12, 2020 I arrived in Kansas City, Mo, headquarters of VanDOit and picked up my 2019 VanDOit LIV adventure van. I made a video of myself when I picked it up - I was pretty excited...

I have a 30'x30' garage on my property. If you ask me, anything smaller just won't do. Go as big as you can.

"The American Life Is Killing You"

I'm working on the simplification of my life. I've done the corporate gig for nearly 23 years now. I'm not sad I did it. I learned a lot but did get a bit caught up in the possessions / consumerism of it all. Thankfully, except for my mortgage, I've been debt free for the last 10 years. I've...
