I had a beautiful day at the lake yesterday until we got hit with an inland hurricane... Loading up was crazy hard with the wind. Notice the tree behind my truck... Luckily we were loading when things got real and not on the water.

I like the look of the new LC more than the GX, but I like the options of the GX more. That being said, I'm still more likely to buy a new Bronco than a new LC or GX. The newer rigs are cool, but I miss taking the top and doors off my Jeeps. Since I'll never own another Chrysler/Fiat/whoever...

I bought a 180 hitch from Wasatch Trailer. It has a 2.5" shank and over 18k lb rating on the 2 5/16 ball. The ones with a 2"shank were around 12k lb limit which sounds like it would work for you. This one was $340 vs $500 for the B&W for a similar hitch. I'm happy with it.

I've run SPC's on my GX470 and my Land Cruiser. I never touched them in the time I owned the vehicles. If I had a vehicle that needed UCA's Id go SPCs again.

I'm not going to say we conquered the Rubicon, but we completed it. I'll call it a draw... We left with less paint, more dents, and a laundry list of things to fix and address, but only 1 of the 3 rigs HAD to make the trek home on a trailer. Great times with great people! Thanks for being in...
