Is there time to buy another fob, borrow his truck, program your fob so you can use to get in on the day?

Depending on the Tundra, it may have an alarm that will sound (horn) if the unlock button is hit on the inside while the doors are locked if they were locked with a fob. So even if you get in, it won't be stealth.

My new to me truck came with a class V hitch. The receiver will take a 2.5" shaft. I don't own any inserts that large and even my new weight distribution hitch is a 2" shaft. I hate the idea of losing my adapter and I really don't want to get in a position where I can't find it and need to tow...
