Well, like @Gawynz said, I'd like to invite myself. I could do the 4th or 17th. The 11th is out for me. Do you think it's accessible? The 4th (this weekend) would be fun. I'd probably go down Saturday for the Rat Fink Reunion and run the trail Sunday.

My left foot instinctively lifts for the clutch and my right hand reaches to downshift when I'm coming to a stop... I'd love for all my vehicles to be manual but they are hard to come by now. I'm having an internal debate building my '49 GMC. I'm seriously contemplating a manual transmission for it.

I guess you could say, you're not the type of guy who let's grass grow under his feet... Looks good. I spent the weekend doing the same thing in my backyard. Between grubs and dogs, about 1100 square feet.

No personal experience but I think the question is, what is done/being done on the engine and transmission programming/tuning side? That might help determine longevity.
