    Paul R's BJ73 Restomod Build

Since we have all been shut in, I finally started working on my BJ73 that I got last year. I figured I would add a build thread here (I started in March) for some updates on the newest addition to our stable. It is a 1987 BJ73 from the the windshield registration and license plates it looks...

    I think I screwed up...

I’ve heard of a way you can make a lot of money with that thing. If it already smells like cat piss it’ll be just fine. Have a background with chemistry by chance?

    Poison ivy?

That looks a lot like the bishop's weed ground cover we have between the scrub oak in our backyard. It grows up fairly tall and has little white flowers. The stuff spreads like wildfire. Definitely not Poison Ivy as others have stated.

    Basement work

I see what you are saying. It is hard to totally tell, but it looks like that board they cross is set in a bit looking at the other vertical 2x4s. It looks like it might sit fairly flush.

    Coronavirus

Ultimately I think the treasury department and the SBA totally screwed the banks (imagine a government program not being efficient...). For the entire time leading up to the initial release, it was all supposed to be done electronically. When the date came and the SBA wasn't ready and hadn't...

    Coronavirus

I think the unemployment number may be higher than what you think. Incentives work. Unfortunately, the incentives right now are all coming out of our own collective pockets. Since we are currently still looking to hire many positions, I'll give you my two cents. It is just as hard, if not...

    Coronavirus

We have been asking to self report temperatures and symptoms daily and wearing masks for a while now. For those that don't/can't check on their own, we have been using thermal cameras on the inside corner of the eye at a distance of 3-4 feet. It is certainly not perfect, but it seems to do as...

Probably for good reason too (not saying that the measures don't do good). It is part of our foundation, no matter how slowly we erode it away...

    Coronavirus

I talked with one of our vendors in China that was in Wuhan (his hometown) for the Spring Festival. He just got released to go back to work in Shenzhen. The amount of technology and control that China exercised was interesting, but I'm not sure I would advocate for it in the US. They had an app...

Real Time Position Tracking While on the Trail

You can use a device that adapts a bluetooth communication between the tablet and HAM radio to use APRSdroid which then integrates to BCN. Gaia does not think there is enough demand to develop. Gaia APRSdroid Feature. I think it is pretty cool tech but haven't invested much into figuring it out...
