You could weld in a small cross member with removable bolt flange on each side and run a center limiting strap down to the axle. This will elimnate the decompressing of the springs but being centered on the axle will still allow it to flex side to side without compromising the articulation;)
Cool thanks I'll do that. There is a thread on pirate4x4 in the jeep hardcore tech about the 5.3 swap if you didn't know about it. Alot of helpful info... Good luck with your build I can't wait to do my swap!
So will that kit from adavanced work with a th400 as well? I assume it will... I am going to be doing this swap this winter in my cj wich currently has a tbi 350 w/ th400/203/205 combo. Who are you gonna use for your harness and ECM?
A friend of mine from middle school and highschool writes a column for Chrysler jeep dodge and she emailed me and said she was doing an article this month on jeep safari so she asked if she could put pics of my jeep in it and I gladly accepted! Mine is the orange one;)
Please ignore the "he's...
Ah yes i see!! Good point! As said before your work is second to none casey!:D
Im sure it will not be hard to convince chad to do this! Especially cause nobody else will have them!;)
So I was just looking on your website and correct me if I'm wrong but is it going to cost me $550 to race in the wendover 300? Or is it just the intial $15 or $45?
Thanks for providing the slick rock punks and mountain yoats a big enough place to fit all of us! Everything you do is much appreciated!! I hope everybody in
our camp donated. Thanks again!
They're made by vision x and the kits is $120. But they don't seem to be that bright. I use some lights from harbor freight and have had them for 3 yes and have never burned out.

Does anybody know if the 78's or any early year for that matter had an auxliary position on the key? If so was it all the way back or was that the lock position?
