Who's the experienced post hole digger?

John Deere tractor with 3-point digger = easy job. Use a clamshell digger to clean up the loose dirt.

wanted......passenger front fender IH Scout II

Just checked the parts pile - no fenders. Only have driver and passenger doors, 2 hoods, lower tailgate and upper rear hatch, plus several transmissions and transfer cases - including one you used to own (grin). Let me know if you need anything.

On Veteran's Day: thank you Jackjoh

Thank you Jack and all Veterans for your service. I spent most of today with my next door neighbor, Pappy Ackerman, installing a front end loader on my John Deere tractor. Pappy also served in the Korean War in 1952 - 1953. He is 82 years old and can outwork anybody I know. Pappy built a lot...

    1985 Dodge Ramcharger for sale.

One of my favorite rigs was a '74 Ramcharger with a warmed up 318. Sweet rig that would always get me anywhere I wanted to go. It was also a great tow rig.

Another great crawler is up for sale

Chad is a very talented home shop engineer. He comes with some out of the box ideas and turns them into reality using very basic tools. A visit to his shop is like seeing a modern day Da Vinci in action.

    Sea Foam

Right now it's Howe's, but I used CS before. Have not seen any difference between the 2 products. Originally I used Husqvarna chainsaw oil, but I am using Mercury outboard oil now. Both are good products.

    Sea Foam

I add 4 ounces of good 2-stroke oil to every new bottle of diesel additive, then add the recommended dose of additive to every tank fill up. That way I am using a product intended to lubricate as well as burn cleanly in the system. Several years of doing this has caused zero problems. My...

    Another double trailer accident

I have a 1-ton dually that will pull the Queen Mary, but I still won't consider pulling doubles. The risk factor goes way up no matter how careful you are or how well you have everything lined out and balanced. Even large over the road tractor-trailer doubles are pretty scary, not to mention...

    Sand Hollow

It was right the first time, that is a "hallowed" place. Great driving on some really scary obstacles.

    Another double trailer accident

Sad. This is a little late, but should make us all think about towing practices. http://www.ksl.com/index.php?sid=27326356&nid=148&title=uhp-identifies-woman-killed-in-truck-trailer-accident I have always considered pulling double trailers the same as playing Russian Roulette.

    Some old school get down

The original Dodge Power Wagon. I doubt that my '49 Power Wagon could have done any better - 4X4 versus 4X2.

Another great crawler is up for sale

Chad is from Mount Pleasant, and is one of the original pioneers of the Hanging Tree Trail. His first articulated vehicle had an early '50s Chevrolet truck cab, and I believe he called that one the Twisted Sister.

Another great crawler is up for sale

Riding in the back of the Twisty is like a carnival ride. He could flop either front half or back half independently.
