    It wouldn't do you any good. Aluminum isn't any more structurally solid than wood (in fact I would say it's probably weaker) and wood doesn't lose it's structural soundness (unless it's built wrong), it deteriorates at the exterior, checking and warping from moisture and sun.

    My girlfriend started her phlebotamy (sp?) course this week so I won't see her much for the next couple months. :( .....so I'll have a lot more time to work on the cruiser:D

    IMO wood is easier to work with but longevity aluminum is better (little more expensive though. It depends on what you're looking for. Aluminum doens't have a very warm appearance to it and doesn't always look so good on that back of a house. Wood won't last as long and you'll have to...

    That's "Suisuki's shop", Courtright Automotive Honda Specialists. Although lately it's been more of a jeep shop. Just need a pipe bender and it's pretty much complete. By the way, where's the best place to by a JD2?

    I've never been to fairview. Mostly we ride mirror lake hwy. It's been pretty good. Remember last year? We had one of these early storms and then a lousy year of snow. I'm still hoping for the best though.

    I absolutely love it. I try to go twice a week,if not at least once. Just like you I've been thinking about it about a hundred times a day and reving up my sled just to hear it and smell it at least once a day. What kind of sled do you ride?
