Since I don't go out and do fun things and this is my life outside of work, got plenty of pics of the truck and others helping out, decided to get one with me and my shit eating grin. Also helps with perspective on how small this thing really is. I don't think they made big people in the 40's?

More carpet items busted out today. Then finished up some brake line plumbing. Got in and did it some brake pumping. Still battling fittings wanting to leak, we'll see how they look tomorrow.

Still checking off boxes for the farm truck project. Got the plug wires cut and mounted, wipers on. Neighbor has been doing a great job on the carpet, dual master cylinders mounted, switched pedal pad to a wider lokar to match the go pedal which took some fab work. Started on the plumbing...

Got a couple glass items installed, buggered up some of the rubbers with the cord, worked on some engine items, seats in, need to build a center console, need to figure out design for upholstery, carpet ordered. Slowly coming together.

At age 11 in 1988 I seen Guns and Roses open up for Iron Maiden at the Salt Palace, glow sticks and beer bottles were thrown at Axl Rose, he threatened to not play and everyone started chanting "MAIDEN". Iron Maiden put on a hell of a show.

Nah it's from classic instruments, the black goes with the truck and it does look similar to the original ones. I think Dakota digital is also now making something similar.

Sound deadener in, wipers in, some dash bling in, seat pans mounted and one seat in, shifter mounted, need to mock-up and get center console built, headliner came in, maybe start on some upholstery soon?

Just more cab stuff while taking a break from sanding things.

Yeah we did the same in the back of dad's 59 which we also still have. From Enoch to Ft. Bridger for the rendezvous. Tipi poles on the rack, 3 or 4 of us under a blue tarp in the back, that bedside wood wasn't there then.

Growing up in Enoch, we used to shoot prairie dogs from our back porch, gun racks in pickup trucks displaying rifles for everyone to see, high school parking lot had a lot of trucks with guns on racks and probably unlocked. We still have the muzzleloaders, truck and people in this photo.

Cab went to it's forever home today.

Finally got the cab off the rotisserie, Hopefully plumb bob it onto the wood later this week. Have a couple burn throughs to fix and hasn't been waxed yet. Engine repainted.

Too bad I'm always at work when you do these. I need to get out more. I want to head up by snow basin soon. I got shoes.
