One of my grandfathers photos 1980's, I grew up down the street.

Checking out the split bumper alignment now that they have chrome and the front end is apart, certainly not perfect, fenders are not exactly the same but I think it's good enough for a family garage build.

Ran down to armour coatings today to pick up my wheels, just decided to go with a satin black, keeping the old farm truck old school with an original look on the outside. 😉

Pretty sure that is not the color your wife wanted? ;) My brother told me the other day that what I spent on everything to paint my truck is what they spent on just the orange paint from Charlie Hutton for that wagon.

Yeah, bumpers aren't perfect but good enough for what I'm building and the average person won't notice.

Uhm there are 3. 😉 Next to the 32 roadster is a split window, the yellow one I believe is a numbers matching big block and a green 66 in the corner.

These are supposed to not leak, EVERYONE keeps questioning that so I'm going to try it without and IF they do I'd only use remflex. I don't think any other gasket would work on these anyway.

Ended up helping out a friend yesterday with his 56, we wasn't sure the problem till we got there, as he was cranking it I seen fuel dumping out of the rear carburetor (has dual Carter's) all around the distributor area, told him you aren't driving this one home today. He called a tow truck...

Switched out my headers to a better set suited for what I'm doing, it'll save me a headache later on and fixes my clearance issues, we'll have to finish building the rest back to the flex pipe later. These new ones have an interesting design not using header gaskets at all.

I've been using a 56v self propelled EGO for about 5 years now, still works just fine, I don't have a ton of grass and it does what I need it to do, I absolutely hate yard work, I'd honestly rather just get rid of the grass altogether. I've seen one of my elderly neighbors using his EGO at 5...
