The road is dirt once you pass Faust/highway 36 heading toward Lookout pass. Once you reach Ibapah, then it is pavement to Wendover. I did 55 most the way.

WOW, Just spend 10 hours in the truck driving the Pony Express trail through Wendover. We started at Five Mile and drove through Callao and through Ibapah. We did stop at Blue lake and had dinner in Bendover. The road out there is in really great shape....and dry I did lower the pressure in...
