    Political Gender Issues Discussion

I just came here to say, a prisoner cut off their testicles in Utah. However you view it, that's still gotta hurt. https://www.ksl.com/article/50948288/utah-prison-discriminated-against-transgender-inmate-us-justice-department-says

Is it ok to have a "make light of" thread?

I actually messaged him the other day

I have a 4 stroke ryobi weed trimmer. Apparently it fell over during winter in the shed, and was “seized”. So I pulled that plug to see if the cylinder filled with oil, which it had. Drained the oil, filled the crankcase back up, and admired the mini OHC and timing belt. I always thought it...

Is it ok to have a "make light of" thread?

    100% a scam. Edit: 90% sure that’s fake.

    Suzuki XL-7 build- “XL7-UP”

Pretty sure I need a lung transplant with how much cut off disc dust I’ve breathed in working on these arms. Slid some 1.5 dom into the 1.75 to keep everything aligned while I assemble. Really excited to see how these turn out! I’m assembling everything with an edge stick out of approximately...

That Duramax has soo many emissions issues. General maintenance doesn’t drive it hard enough! We’ve had to force regens a few times. But to answer your question…..yes. We have an F450 with the 6.7 on order with a new dump bed. We pushed for a new GM 4500, but they shot that down quick 🙁

Yeah, same design as the 7.3, just not quite as much power I guess. It still scoots for sure!

    Suzuki XL-7 build- “XL7-UP”

Around 1” wider and 1.5” forward on each side. They should hopefully be stronger than stock, and they’ll be serviceable. The OEM arms do not have replaceable joints. Also, I hope to get a little better bj angle as well with the lift to promote a longer service life.

Shop / Tools Opportunity to learn/experience welding... Episode 1

Anybody have a suggestion on a decent budget helmet for the average DIY’er? I feel like I really struggle to see what exactly I’m looking at with the old helmet I currently have before I even start the arc. Is there any helmets that have a “lighter” view while idle before auto darkening?

    Suzuki XL-7 build- “XL7-UP”

This is definitely a learning experience, trying to keep everything straight as I build the jig so that I can then take measurements, and flip it, to build the other side identical. It’s proving to be a challenge.

I think I’ve bought some parts from you before. I’m in Springville, but my in laws are in WVC pretty close to you if I recall, correctly.

My brother was selling stuff on Etsy. Another avenue to possibly check out. Keep us posted if you get a table, I need a local source for stuff. My brother is in Nebraska so having him cut stuff for me is cost prohibitive with shipping. Also, I get scrap plate for free from a supplier of mine...

    Suzuki XL-7 build- “XL7-UP”

Started work on some boxed plate control arms. Originally wanted to use OEM rubber bushings, but finally decided poly is probably to be the best option. I’ve been eyeing duroflex joints as well. I currently have ARB coils up front, which have a 540 ppi rating, and they seem extremely stiff. I...

What’s the true size of the 4by sheets you’d be cutting? I’ve not heard of this issue from my brother on his crossfire. Edit: just spoke to him, he says his machine will cut full edge to edge on a 48” wide sheet. Says a 50” wide sheet will fit, and will actually cut 49” wide. I did do a bit of...

After reading the description he posted in the pictures, I’m assuming it was built by somebody else and the seller doesn’t really know what all he’s selling.
