It is pretty intuitive. It took me a model or 2 to get used it but I don't think I can go back to the shift/control keys. I too have mine left of the keyboard. So I can use my normal mouse with my other hand.

I don't have that specific mouse but I do love my 3d mouse. Night and day difference in how quickly I can make 3d models.

I have the unfortunate life opportunity to deal with transmission issues with my GMC 1500. I blew a cooler line about a week ago and ran it out of fluid. Luckily was able to fill it back up and fix the cooler line. It ran rather well this past week then yesterday it just decided not to work...
