    Anyone into 3D printing?

I have mine set to plus or minus .010 and that's been working great for me. Just when you're designing something you have to keep the tolerances in mind otherwise that is and issue. I'll include both of the wrench designs. I've found anything above a 19mm (3/4 for you standard folk) has a hard...

    Anyone into 3D printing?

You mean these? Designed it myself. I'll need to get home to attach the .stl file if desired. These are normal sized wrenchs, I created a large wrench design too.

    Anyone into 3D printing?

I would have to say its a good option. All depends on how big of objects you want to print. What I recommend is getting a heated bed and with an enclosure (you can buy enclosures for the open design printers). The heated bed helps with bed adhesion and the enclosure helps control the temp if you...

On an Ender 3 you can even print yourself parts and upgrades for it. Like @1969honda said massive online support for it.

    Anyone into 3D printing?

I got tired of my desk looking like a mess with note pads stacked up and writing utensils everywhere. So I printed this little drawer system for my desk. Fits really well! Now I just need the actual drawers. In total I'm looking at about 86 hours of printing for this thing. I'm actually quite...

    Anyone into 3D printing?

I'm no expert my any means but I hear a lot of people like the Creality Ender 3. In fact a lot of my coworkers recommended it but I didn't like the print bed size the print material limitations. I have heard you can print parts to make the print bed bigger and it's pretty inexpensive. I quite...

    Anyone into 3D printing?

I've been using a Qidi plus-II. I've been pretty happy with it. I haven't printed anything else other than PLA on it yet but I do want to try ABS. One of the reasons I got it was because of the print bed size and it's 10.6X7.9X7.9 with a heated bed. Pretty good unit for the price too.

And here I am just printing tool orginaizers. The socket organizers I designed myself. I saved myself an entire drawer plus a little with these. Going to work on ratchet and long extention holders next. The wrench organizers I got from thingiverse. Tho I'm thinking of printing some different ones.

General Tech What did you work on Today?

Teaching myself how to weld today, with a little help from @mbryson. Got a cool practice welding kit from somewhere awhile ago and decided today was the day to try it out. Here are some of my samples with a little Hobart Handler 100. I wouldn't say I'm good, but I definitely feel like they'd...

    High School TJ build

Wow! There's a lot of difference in all of this 🤣. This made my day! I might just need to do that. I've been thinking of just triangulating and putting an anti-rock swaybar on the rear. Then just put hydro assist on the front and it would be pretty sweet! I've been wondering if it is worth it...

    High School TJ build

Curiosity has stuck me once again! I am looking into doing the AW4 swap for my TJ. My hopes are to increase the "roadability" and give me a lower first gear. Let's just say I would like to not be at 3k RPM when I'm on the interstate at 70-75mph. I reading off of this thread from another...

    old school video games

Ah yes! Starcraft, one of my favorites too (specifically SC2). I stopped playing because I watched (and continue to watch) pros play it and everytime I play it I'm just reminded at how good I am not. But it's wayyy fun to watch.
