New transcooler has been tried and it made it better but it's still on the warm side after a few hours in 90+ degree heat. It hasn't really been rock crawling with the trans cooler, but it has been on some rocky dirt roads and the highway going 60ish at 30 psi. After talking to mbryson a...

With tire on. Side shot for departure angle. Not sure if it increases it or decreases it but it certainly sticks out.

Well a couple weeks later and you get the full picture. Need to put the higher mount brackets on so I can actually put my spare on. Dumb factory bumper, need to get an aftermarket one. Installed a new transmission cooler so my transmission doesn't feel like it's going to explode. Hoping the...

Had a little fun putting a pretty well designed tailgate support system that will hold a 35" tire. Not only does it add a large amount of extra steel for support but also ties into the cage mount which I thought was rather neat. You could say torx bits are my friend but all I can say is I...

The stock one is integrated with the radiator which is what I think a stacked plate cooler? The lines connect to the lower part of the radiator. I'll have to take a look into those options.

Has anyone put an aftermarket trans cooler on their TJ? I've got the cool 3 speed with 35s and 4.10 gears with a winch basicly blocking the stock cooler. After driving 40 minutes or so at 3k rpm (70-75 mph) makes my transmission uncomfortably warm.

Glad to know it doesn't move the front, done a lot to it and not sure I can cut all that work out and I like where the front is at. Good to hear about the drone, I was thinking of maybe doing that but I don't think Davis County emissions would let me pass and I don't have carpet....

Stormie does work pretty well. I have been contemplating stretching it and if I was I'd just do it while I was triangulating it just so I have to buy links once.... What do you have to do with the stretch? Does it stretch the front at all??

Is there any reason to not triangulate the lower control arms and leave the uppers not triangulated?

After putting in my T-case today and looking at the rear end it looks like I'd have to figure out some new exhaust routing. Not a huge fan of rerouting exhaust. Is there some neato exhaust routing? The Driver side I'm really not to worried about anymore, nor the gas tank as it sits behind the...

Literally just priced everything out on Barnes 4wd and I like most of the stuff and the price is pretty decent (that also includes all the coil correcting brackets and outboard shock towers + axle side brackets). The only thing I dislike is the upper control arm brackets. I might just have make...

They also have 10 degree brackets, I think I got 10 degree frame side but I'll probably just get new ones just in case.

There are some pretty cool brackets out there, Teraflex's brackets are pretty awesome if you ask me! Here us the truss I was thinking of. https://www.wfoconcepts.com/pr/Rear-Axle-Truss-TJ-Dana-44/3203/3466/4653/4656 You can also get some pretty steller brackets for that truss too. Kinda helps...

Well it's a good thing it's mostly a trail rig only other driving it really does is on Sunday's (when it's not being worked on or broken anyway). I was going to just use heims anyway. I'm curious if I could just make the 25.5" lowers work? Not sure at what angle it begins to be considered...

The Tera arms are adjustable but the middle is 33.875". At that length I'd have to cut into the skid plate and probably cover a mounting hole. The longest arm I could probably have is around 25.5" without cutting into the Skid plate so I've opted into the orginal plan and just using jk length...

Good to know, I'll probably keep it. Looking into triangulating the rear a bit more it looks like Teraflex has a pretty cool kit, also way more than I want to pay, that has precut control arm lengths. Thinking of just using those control arm lengths and using the length of the control arms to...

Funny story, I'm in math class going through triangles again and the thought comes to me, "why don't I just triangulate the rear end?" So now I'm curious, I know they make kits and there's cool calculators but my concern is what do you do with all the brake lines and fuel lines? Are they good...

Well, there goes my T-case, kept poping out of any sort of drive. Turns out I put to much silicone on the half case causing the filter and pump to clog up not sending fluid to the planetary gears.... planning on picking up another t-case up that luckily already has a SYE and it comes with a...

Well, my t-case decided it didn't want to work anymore. Does anyone have a Tj np231 with a SYE on it already? I still can use the SYE kit I have too if not.
